4. Who we share it with

We share only the information each party needs to deliver your trip or run our business:

  • Travel suppliers: lodges, camps, airlines and charter operators, transfer companies and partner guides.
  • Authorities: national park and wildlife authorities, immigration and border officials, where permits or entry require it.
  • In an emergency: your travel insurer, doctors, hospitals and evacuation providers.
  • Service providers who help us run the business: website hosting, email, booking forms, banks and payment processors, and accountants.
  • Booking platforms: if you booked through GetYourGuide or Viator, we receive and use the booking details they share with us, and their own privacy policies also apply.
  • When the law requires it: for example, to respond to a valid request from a court or government authority.

We never sell your personal information, and we never share it with others for their marketing.

5. Sharing information across borders

  • Many of our trips cross borders between Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia, so your booking details are shared with suppliers and authorities in the countries you visit.
  • Some of our service providers, such as email and website hosting, store information outside Zambia. We use reputable providers and share only what is needed.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to two years, so that we can help if you contact us again. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Booking and payment records: for as long as Zambian tax and accounting law requires.
  • Passport, health and emergency details: deleted once your trip and any follow-up, such as an insurance claim, are complete.

7. Keeping it safe

  • We take reasonable technical and practical steps to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access, including password-protected accounts and limiting access to the people who need it.
  • No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we work hard to protect yours.
  • We will never ask for your card details, passwords or one-time codes by email or message. Our bank details are shown on your invoice and never change by email alone. If you are unsure about a message from us, contact us on WhatsApp at +260 761 576 164 before paying.
