Overview
Every year, between October and December, Kasanka National Park in central Zambia hosts one of the natural world’s great spectacles: millions of straw-coloured fruit bats converge on a small patch of swamp forest, filling the sky at dusk and dawn in a migration event unlike anywhere else on Earth.
This 3-day, 2-night safari takes you from Lusaka directly into the heart of it. Based at Wasa Lodge inside the park, you’ll have three separate opportunities to witness the colony in action.
